Tuesday November 15, 2011: Meetings concerning Long Term Planning

This Tuesday November 15, 2011, there are two meetings that may interest those who follow Olympia’s long term planning efforts:

2:00-4:00 pm Placemaking Walk. This is a follow up to the Project for Public Spaces sessions last month. It’s scheduled for the middle of the afternoon, so I will not be able to attend, but if enough commissioners show up, I wonder if we have to turn some away given that it would be a meeting, and as far as I can tell, not officially noticed. If you’re interested in attending and interacting with the planning commissioners who are there, please be at the lobby of the city hall at few minutes before 2:00.

5:30-7:00 pm Council Study Session. While it doesn’t say on the notice anywhere, this is on sea level rise. Given where we are in the SMP, the content of this meeting particularly important.
