Tonight’s meeting features three deliberations and anointing:
- Comprehensive Plan Amendment rezoning an area of Kaiser Road SW from R-4 to Residential Low Impact (RLI).
- Electronic Sign Code Amendments requested by the owner of the Walgreen’s Shopping Center on Black Lake and Cooper Point Road. The owner has applied for a zoning change to allow him to place electronic signs notifying passerby of tenants and promotions in the center. It would apply to most commercial and high density corridors within the city. The staff report for this deliberation considers several options.
- Shoreline Master Program Deliberation. The commission will review the latest SMP issues that the SMP subcommittee has forwarded on to the full commission.
- We will also appoint a new chair for the comprehensive plan subcommittee. My money’s on this guy. Doesn’t that pen look tasty?
